Hi – I’m Stefy.

Decades ago a friend of my father’s gave me a Bible as a gift. At the time I was still quite young and not interested in religion. But I enjoyed reading and I read the bible cover to cover. It wasn’t easy reading. Parts of the old testament were especially difficult to get through. But I read it as a mission. However, did I understand everything I read? Did I understand the Bible’s lessons? I cannot say I did – at least not at that time.

But as I got older I began to appreciate the wisdom in The Book. I began to understand how passages from the Bible could make sense in the modern world and in modern lives. I realized the importance of not taking every phrase literally but trying to understand the meaning behind the words. And in these meanings lies the true wealth of the Bible.

I know many people who like to gain from the wisdom of the Bible but will not read it end to end. And they may not know where in the Bible to go to to get answers for the questions in life that they are facing. This blog is meant for those people.

My goal in this blog is to extract information from the Bible and present it to you in clear, plain English. Wherever possible I have referenced parts of the Bible so you can read the appropriate passages from your version of the Bible.
